I’m a person-centred counsellor specialising in brain injury and walk and talk counselling and I work in a way that is holistic, relational and intuitive. I am able to offer a safe, genuine and caring space to help you gain awareness and clarity into past and present experiences that may be having a negative impact.
I have broad experience, both lived and professionally, which enables me to apply my skills and knowledge to work with you sensitively around the challenges you face and in a way that is beneficial in developing the abilities to realise your full potential.
I work successfully with adults around a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, dissociation, child sexual abuse, trauma, complex trauma, PTSD and complex PTSD some of which has been involved with specialist organisations.
Having lived through traumatic events myself, and being a brain injury survivor, I’ve come to realise that the effects can manifest themselves in different ways and are often misunderstood. Therefore I strive to help others feel valid in their experiences using a trauma informed approach.
