Face to face therapy sessions are 60 minutes and held in a private building in a beautiful countryside location on the grounds of my property. There are two doors into and out of the property so that you do not have to re-enter the waiting room after your session or be seen by anyone else. This can be particularly important for some people.
I do offer sessions via video link but prefer to build a face to face connection for a couple of sessions first if possible.
Group courses are held in the same building and are light and fun, using videos, discussion, psycho-education and strategic techniques to manage difficult emotions. The most regularly running course is particularly excellent at offering all the necessary skills to overcome anxiety, depression and work/school stressors.
Learn how to cultivate: Great brain training tools, emotional regulation, impulse control, target anxiety, improve your focus, have fun, improve your attention and concentration, compassion, calm and greater kindness to yourself and communication with others.
Group work can feel scary and intimidating but is a great way to experience acceptance, validation – everyone is in the same boat – and add a fun element which is less intense that one to one therapy.
