My aim as a counsellor is to provide a safe space for people to talk openly about their situation or issues troubling them, free from the fear of judgement or criticism whilst fully hearing and understanding what is being said. I believe in building a collaborative, therapeutic relationship built on mutual trust which has been found to be effective in helping people find their own answers and the courage to take the next steps to a more fulfilling future.

I am a Certified Canine Assisted Therapist and I am able to provide Canine Assisted Therapy. This combines the talking therapy of the Person-Centred Approach with the addition of Bentley, a registered, fully trained and insured, Golden Retriever.

My aim as a supervisor is to provide supervisees with the space and time to bring their clinical work for exploration and evaluation to ensure best ethical practice for their clients within a supportive, collaborative, facilitative and restorative relationship. I am able to offer Interpersonal Process Recall and Focusing to enable deeper exploration and understanding of client work. I work with both trainees and qualified counsellors. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT offer supervision to trainees or ‘qualified’ counsellors who have only studied an online course or a course that does not require supervised clinical client hours in placement and face to face tutor teaching to ‘qualify’. I believe these courses and routes are unethical and pose serious safeguarding risks to clients.
